OUR MISSION
Spirit of Christmas is a registered charity (1185011) based in Yorkshire. The charity promotes education, family and community interaction through the projects that we run. We also run additional events throughout the year to encourage community participation, such as our Lego-themed coffee mornings and monthly neurodiversity stay and play sessions for under 11’s.
In 2025 alone we catered for over 2,264 children across all of our projects and events.
In delivering our projects we strive to:
Promote education, family and community involvement- Combat poverty through the provision of resources to promote learning and development
- Provide a safe, family oriented environment at our events
- Encourage people to talk and develop relationships
- Promote equal opportunities for all
- Encourage recycling to reduce landfill waste
OUR PROJECTS
The aim of our Banana Box Toy Project is to provide toys to disadvantaged families to promote learning and the development of social skills in children.
The aim of our Christmas Parties is to bring Christmas joy and community spirit at what is a stressful and financially difficult time of year for many.
The aim of our Christmas Toy Bank is to provide free toys so that no child wakes up on Christmas Day without a special present to open.
